Helene Graham of Scottsburg passed away on a beautiful, crisp Sunday, March 4, a day she would have normally been enjoying outside.

Helene, 59, loved sunshine, planting flowers, her family and her pets. Ill health had curtailed her outdoor activities in recent years. She died with her devoted husband Bill Graham, Scottsburg’s mayor, and other members of her family at her side, at rest at last.

Helene was a native of Chicago, Il., and the daughter of Hamon Miller and the late Geraldine Noble Miller. She loved animals and groomed pets professionally for several years. She also served as a legal secretary during her career. Helene was part of the “team” that kept her husband organized and on track. The couple was married for 24 years. She leaves behind quite a collection of wonderful memories for her family and friends to enjoy.

Calling will be conducted on Thursday, March 8, starting at 3 p.m. at the Mid-America Science Park, 821 South Lake Road, Scottsburg.

The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. at the Mid-America Science Park.

Cremation has been requested.
