A couple from Mississippi apparently stopped at the Clark State Forest north of Henryville on Wednesday, April 19, not to enjoy the scenery but to smoke an illegal substance.

Charlestown High School (CHS) offers students many extraordinary opportunities to make the college and/or career decision-making easier once they have graduated from high school. One opportunity that many students take advantage of is the ability to job shadow during the school day. Juniors and seniors at CHS are allowed a select number of excused days to stand alongside a professional in their particular field of interest.

The Miss Clark County Queen Pageant is now accepting applications! Any Clark County young person that will be 18 by January 5, 2018 and will not have reached their 22nd birthday on or before June 1, 2018 may participate. They must be an active member of at least one worthwhile organization in the community and must be sponsored by a Clark County business and/or organization.

The Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg received a telephone call from Louisville Metro Police Detectives late Sunday, April 2, stating they had possibly tracked an armed robbery suspect, James R. Daugherty, Jr., 48, from Jeffersonville  to the Pilot Truck Stop in Memphis.
