The Kentucky Derby Festival is pleased to announce its national concert lineup for Kroger’s Fest-A-Ville on the Waterfront for the 2013 Derby Festival.
Pop-rock-country music star Uncle Kracker will kick off the festivities with the Sonic Saturday show on Saturday, April 27. Runners with a finisher’s medal from that day’s KDF

River City Winery wins "Wine of the Year" PDF Print E-mail

Nearly 2,400 wines traveled to West Lafayette for one of the nation’s largest wine competitions, the Indy International Wine Competition, August 1-3, 2012 at Purdue University.

Wines from 41 states and 14 countries as far away as France, Australia, Chile and Germany were judged on appearance, aroma, taste, and aftertaste by 50 international judges.

For the first time, an Indiana winery won Wine of the Year, besting 2400 other wines to be named the best wine of the entire competition.  River City Winery, New Albany, IN won Wine of the Year for their 2011 Vignoles!  White Wine of the Year honors went to Tabor Hill Winery of Michigan for their 2011 Gewürztraminer.  Chateau Ste. Michelle of Woodinville, Washington won Red Wine of the Year for their 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon. Rosé Wine of the Year was awarded to 21 Brix Winery of Portland, New York for their 2011 Ellatawba Rosé.

Tickets for the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m. ET. The second annual Big Ten Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and will begin at 8:17 p.m. ET on FOX.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
